Andi Dorfman is officially engaged to boyfriend Blaine Hart

Congratulations are in order for former Bachelorette Andi Dorfman who is officially engaged to her boyfriend (now fiance) Blaine Hart! It’s a cute and beautiful story and honestly, Bachelor Nation couldn’t be happier for her. It’s been a long time coming, and to know that yet another alum from this franchise has found her happily ever after makes me so happy.

PEOPLE was the first to exclusively report this exciting news along with Dorfman’s social media. Hart planned an incredibly beautiful proposal and even got her family involved with it. Oh, and he did the gentlemanly thing and sought out her parents’ permission first.

Andi Dorfman’s beautiful proposal

According to Dorfman, the proposal was “really great and intimate” and took place on the beach at sunset. He pulled off the surprise by saying they had dinner reservations and asked her if she wanted to do cocktails on the beach after dinner. Clever, clever man you are, Mr. Blaine Hart!

"We get down to our spot, pour some wine, walked toward the water, and when I turned around, he was on one knee. I don’t even remember what he said, I just remember hugging him and crying. I didn’t even remember seeing the ring at first. And then after, the best part was, he told me instead of dinner we were going to stay the night at Hotel Bel-Air. So we drove home to pack a bag and when I opened the door to our home, both of our families and my closest friends were there to surprise me. That’s when I really started bawling."

Apparently, Hart had been planning the proposal with Andi Dorfman’s family for a while, and luckily for him, it paid off. On top of all the amazing planning, Hart had made sure that he and Dorfman went together to pick out a ring from the very same jeweler who made her mother’s engagement ring nearly 40 years ago.

This story just keeps getting cuter and cuter–I can’t handle it!

As for when the wedding is? Well, the happy couple is going to begin planning soon enough and they just might jet off to Italy for it. It is apparently where they rekindled their romance so there probably isn’t a better place to become each others forever.
