The last installment of The Bachelorette featured two separate seasons for Bachelorettes Katie Thurston and Michelle Young. Both were sent home on Matt James’ season of The Bachelor Season 25. Now, following Clayton Echard’s season of The Bachelor Season 26, the women mix it up again. The Bachelorette Season 19 features not one, but two Bachelorettes (again), this time competing on the same season.
Don’t worry! Mike Fleiss, the show’s creator, confirmed the two friends won’t be pitted against each other.
Following their final three finish on The Bachelor, Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia join forces for the upcoming season of The Bachelorette Season 19. It has yet to be revealed the exact format of the show, but from the tweet above the two women will not directly be pitted against each other. The two became close friends on The Bachelor and seemed excited to be together for their next televised journey to find love.
The rumor heard around the garden is that The Bachelorette Season 19 could begin filming as soon as Wednesday, March 23rd. The contestants should be announced soon as well, even as early as filming begins. Currently, ABC’s The Bachelorette website only has the two Bachelorettes and their host, Jesse Palmer. After his recent success on The Bachelor, Jesse joins these two ladies on their journey to find love.
The Bachelorette Season 19 with a new twist
Hopefully, this new twist will help these women find love instead of causing extra drama. The producers are good enough at making drama they don’t need any help. Although having two women in the same season of the Bachelorette is sure to cause some issues. After everything these women went through on Clayton’s season of The Bachelor, they deserve a fair shot at finding love.
Although we may not have to wait long to find out the contestants on the show, we could be waiting a little bit to see it all post-production. The Bachelorette Season 19 is set to air on July 11th, roughly three and a half months from now. That leaves plenty of time to speculate and hypothesize on what exactly this show is going to be like. Until then we will have to be content with the spoilers and teasers we receive from insiders. Keep an eye on social media folks!
After the contestants are announced, hopefully, we will find out how the show is actually going to work.
How do you think the show is going to work? Do you have any thoughts on who or how many contestants there will be?
