The Bachelorette Season 19 is set to feature two leading women–Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey. The two got royally screwed over during Clayton Echard’s season of The Bachelor, in case you didn’t know. It was a horrendous journey to watch unfold, and the silver lining to any of it is that these two women are getting another chance at finding love.

However, there is something we’re all a bit worried about. If there will be two Bachelorettes, will there only be 30 men competing for their love? Isn’t it possible that both Rachel and Gabby will be pitted against one another?

According to series creator Mike Fleiss, The Bachelorette Season 19 will do no such thing.

Twitter was blowing up with curiosity over this so Fleiss made sure to let it be known that pitting them against each other is not part of the plan. I mean, I hope not, Gabby and Rachel have been through enough. We don’t need the production to be screwing them over again–please!

The Bachelorette Season 19 will hopefully not be as bad as we think

Honestly, if they end up setting up this season in any negative way, I’ll be livid. I don’t want to see an entire season in which men are comparing Rachel and Gabby and seeing who is “better”. It would be highly inappropriate and if that is what they are planning to do, then they need to scratch all those plans.

If they need to bring in 60 men or do some sort of separation then so be it. I don’t want these women feeling like they’re not good enough or worse yet, losing their friendship over this. It’s not worth it, so I hope Mike Fleiss is telling the truth when he says that “we’ll see”.

Give these women a fair shot at love!
