We all know that Clayton and Susie had a very tumultuous journey during this past season of The Bachelor. It was actually the most dramatic season we’ve seen of any of the shows, and no, that’s not an understatement.

To be fair, I do think a lot of it was hyped up and some of it did end up being disappointing. However, there was a first for the series in which the lead left completely single at the end of the show. No one was dating, no one was engaged, and the future looked pretty darn grim.

Fast forward to the After the Final Rose special and it looked like things had completely changed for Clayton and Susie. After the devastating breakup in Iceland, Clayton came back to the states. After a bit of time passed by, Susie reached out to Clayton and the two rekindled their romance.

They worked through their problems and seemingly decided to stick together. From the way they were all over each other, you could tell they were very much in love. While all that may be the case, the biggest question is, are they still together?

Clayton and Susie–together or not?

Yes, they are very much together, and seem very happy! In fact, Clayton revealed that he quit his job and sold his house because he decided to move to Virginia Beach to be with Susie. They are in this for real and were serious enough that they decided to be in the same place.

A couple of days after the AFTR special aired, Clayton and Susie jet-setted to Virginia Beach to begin their new lives. So far things are looking great, and the couple is looking very happy. I don’t want to sound like a pessimist but we’ve seen this story before, and we did not like the ending.

Despite all the drama and my reservations about Clayton, I do hope this couple finds a way to work it out and stay in love. It would be a bummer if things go south, but for now, it is not looking that way.

Oh, and if you’re wondering what their future plans entail, then let us be the first to tell you that they plan to do a cross-country road trip. An engagement and wedding are part of their future plans, but for now, they’re just taking it day by day.

We wish them the best of luck as they do just that!
