This week’s episode of The Bachelor Season 26 had its fair share of heroes and villains!

Welcome to Week 8 of The Bachelor Season 26! No matter how you look at it, I truly believe that brand new leading man, the Bachelor himself, Clayton Echard, will do a fantastic job, despite whatever the media is saying and speculating about him.

However…despite what I said weeks ago (before this current season even started, really), I think he is doing a horrific job and is the worst Bachelor in franchise history! In fact, his reign of being our leading (and disgusting for that matter) man is more horrific than legit any horror movie out there (sorry, I mean, not really, I just really had to say it)!

Okay, moving on…

Be sure to let us know down in the comments all about your thoughts on week 8!

*In case you haven’t seen The Bachelor Season 26, Episode 8 yet, there may be some spoilers ahead, so beware!*

Okay, let’s talk…

This week was Hometowns. If you’re new to this show franchise, here’s a little bit more about what exactly this week is and means to the show and outcome as a whole: the suitor essentially meets the families of all (usually) 4 ladies that are left in any given season. It’s always the same, though, and each family is usually always portrayed in a certain way every season. One family is always happy yet boring and one family always has something sad going on or someone missing from the lineup.

Then someone’s dad is always tough and seemingly scary yet always cries at the end, and someone’s brother or sister or best friend always threatens the suitor to ‘hurt’ or ‘hate’ them if they hurt their loved one. In order, here’s who was who this week: Susie’s family, Gabby’s family, Rachel’s family, and finally, Serene’s family.

In all honesty, this week was super boring for me and made me want to take back all of the nice things that I’ve ever said about Clayton in all honesty (more to come on that later).

Since there are only 4 ladies left this week, we’ll touch just a bit on each of them as heroes and villains.

For now, let’s get into some superhero and supervillain actions of the week…

The Bachelor Season 26, Episode 8: Heroes (Moments)

*By the way, these ladies are listed in order from most likely a hero to least likely a hero this week!*

#1: Gabby

Gabby was truly the biggest hero this week. The way she handled herself, opened up to Clayton, and the pure and honest relationship that she’s got with her grandfather really did solidify for me why I don’t like her, but truly do love her so much. She’s goofy, she’s got a serious side, she’s romantic when she wants to be. She really is the perfect contestant on this show and for this show in general. Who doesn’t want someone who can poke fun of your hairy toes, but then give you a sweet little kiss and sit in the hottub with you? Idiots, I tell you, complete idiots!

#2: Serene

Poor Serene. While I did kind of expect her to get sent home this week, that still doesn’t make it any easier to see her leave. Her most heroic moment was how she didn’t shed a single tear for Clayton, and rightfully so. Clayton is boring, Clayton’s a liar, and he keeps the streak going of bachelor being weird when they kiss and give the  you-know-what eyes to the ladies! Just gross. Serene he was this: dis. gust. ing. Serene really dodged a bullet here. Always a hero, never a villain!

#3: Susie

Susie just is there for me. She’s never really had a heroic moment in my personal opinion. Sure she did surprise Clayton at the giant clock watchtower out in Croatia I believe (feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, by the way); however, it was cheesy and kind of stupid. If you’re gonna creepily lure him there, at least do something besides just talk and confess your feelings. She seems really sweet, but never really had a villainous moment for me. Good for you, girl! Good for you!

#4: Rachel

Heroically speaking, Rachel is the most boring person on this list. More to come on her later…in the villainous portion of this ‘episode’. Sorry, Rachel…I’m sure someone likes your personality, just not me! Definitely not me!
