Are you feeling nervous? Are you feeling excited? If you said yes to either of those then you must be in your feelings about this week’s episode of The Bachelor Season 26. I say that because this week Clayton Echard and the remaining four contestants are heading into Hometowns Week.

It’s that time of the season in which the lead sits down with each of the contestant’s families and has to endure the awkwardness of introductions. As if on cue, the lead is subject to incessant questioning from family members that almost always convinces at least one contestant that they should walk away from the relationship. It’s a tale as old as time, and one we’ve seen many, many times.

In case you forgot, Susie, Serene, Rachel, and Gabby are the final four women left in the season. I think it’s pretty clear who the contenders are, but I’m still betting on the fact that he leaves this show single.

I haven’t read any spoilers and I haven’t looked ahead but I have a sneaking suspicion that this is going to be the case. The season just isn’t heading in the direction of a proposal, but who knows, maybe it will surprise us.
