The Bachelor alum Tia Booth mourns the loss of her father
By Ariba Bhuvad
The Bachelor’s Tia Booth shared some tragic news over the weekend as she took to social media to share the news of her father’s passing. According to her Instagram post, Kenny Booth had a long, hard battle with colon cancer for the past year, and sadly passed away.
She shared an emotional post on Instagram and was immediately showered with love and condolences from her fellow Bachelor Nation alums. Becca Kufrin wrote “Sending you and your family so much love and prayers. I’m sure Stevie Kuf was meeting him at the gates of Heaven with an ice-cold beer. you have the best guardian angel now.” Natasha Parker added, “Sorry for your loss Tia! Nothing like the bond between dad and babygirl, as his body rests his spirit lives on and surrounds you everywhere you go. Praying for you and your fam.”
It’s very touching to see the support that Tia Booth got from her closest friends and colleagues. We might have a lot of bad things to say about the franchise, but when push comes to shove and when it really matters, so many of them come together to support and lift each other up.
Tia Booth shares an emotional post about her late father
Tia first posted about her father’s cancer in March of last year, and since then she had periodically posted on social media updating everyone about his health. Our hearts go out to the Booth family as they process this tragic loss.
Tia Booth first came into our lives during The Bachelor Season 22 when she competed against other women for Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s love. We all know how that season went down and it was certainly not where Tia fell in love. She did however return for Bachelor in Paradise Season 5 and then again for the most recent season last summer.
While she did not find love in the Bachelor franchise, soon after her second stint on Paradise she posted on social media that she had found someone special. We’re so very happy for her and hope that during this difficult time he has been the support she needs.
Sending you lots of love, Tia!
