This week of The Bachelor Season 26 saw Clayton Echard and the remaining contestants heading to Hvar, Croatia to continue the romance and drama! Who can forget when the show visited Croatia on Emily Maynard’s unforgettable season? Great to be back!

And now, without further ado, let’s get to the best and worst moments of episode 6!

The Bachelor Season 26, Episode 6: Worst moment: Sarah talk

This was so eye-roll-inducing.

First of all, Mara was definitely out of line when, in her desperation, she suggested to Clayton that several girls there were not ready for marriage/there for the dreaded wrong reasons.

But let’s take a look at what she actually said when Clayton asked why she felt that way:

“Some of these women have been openly vocal about that. And others it’s just age.”

So Clayton goes out of his way to assume Mara is talking about Sarah (and only Sarah?) and promptly chooses Sarah to interrogate based on…the statement from Mara that Sarah is young?

Mara’s statement of “others it’s just age” implies that age is the only issue with Sarah, not that Sarah is one of the girls she has overhead talking “wrong reasons” material.

About Sarah, (once Clayton himself brought Sarah up) Mara said, “She’s definitely one of the people that I would think is maybe not fully ready.”

Mara didn’t say Sarah said anything or implied she had any knowledge of Sarah being there for the wrong reasons.

So, why was Clayton ever concerned?? I get that he was forced to go down this rabbit hole, but it was just so boring because nothing was actually said!

Clayton also told Sarah a borderline lie when he later told her, “You were the person they were speaking of.” Not exactly!

I love drama on this show. I just want real drama. This was so pointless!

The Bachelor Season 26, Episode 6: Best moment: Chat with Jesse Palmer

Can we have more of Jesse Palmer on this season of The Bachelor? Something about his earnest delivery of all his lines just cracks me up.

I loved the secret garden chat Jesse and Clayton had in this episode. Clayton was shown lurking by the side of the house when Jesse appeared out of nowhere for a humorously pointless chat.

Best line:

Jesse: “Trust in yourself. Trust in your heart”

Clayton: “What Jesse’s saying is true.”

Great talk!

Next. Where is Hvar, Croatia located?. dark
