It’s a cause for celebration, Bachelor Nation! Shanae Ankney has finally been sent home on The Bachelor! Clayton Echard finally made the right decision after what has felt like weeks of agonizing and frustrating decisions. I was worried for a moment there that Clayton was going to send Genevieve home and I know like many of you, I was holding my breath waiting to hear who he wanted to give the rose to.

It was such a glorious moment when Shanae was sent home packing from Niagara Falls. It was almost as if the rest of the episode suddenly felt lighter and calmer in an instant. At least we can enjoy the time we have without her, that is until the Women Tell All special which is going to be quite the wild ride when everyone gets back together.

But for now, we and the remaining contestants are going to enjoy the Shanae-less drama and her nonsensical acting and fooling Clayton! Hip hip hooray!

Who was sent home on The Bachelor last night?

Along with Shanae, we saw two more women get sent home by Clayton during last night’s episode of The Bachelor—Hunter and Marlena. Given that neither of these women was seen hitting it off with Clayton or having a lot of chemistry with him, it makes sense that they were the ones to go home.

However, it appears that we have another villain on our hands in the form of Mara. While she did manage to stay on another week, she was quite condescending and rude to Clayton about his relationship with the other women.

She basically spent her time with him saying that she is older and mature and the rest of the women are too immature. Oh, and she essentially said he should know better than to pursue these women over her.

The drama is going to continue next week, and suffice to say, I think Mara might be the next one on her way out.
