The Bachelor Season 26: Where is Hvar, Croatia located?
By Ariba Bhuvad
This week on The Bachelor Season 26 Clayton Echard and his remaining contestants (sans Shanae, yay!) jetted off to the European country of Croatia. Specifically, they went to the island of Hvar in Croatia. If you’re a fan of Game of Thrones or Star Wars then the island of Hvar will be very familiar to you.
It is located off the coast of Croatia, right between the cities of Split and Dubrovnik, and is known for its turquoise beaches and beautiful lavender fields. Hvar or rather the country of Croatia is absolutely breathtaking so I can see why ABC decided to pick it as the first international destination the franchise has gone to since pre-COVID restrictions.
Yes, that’s right! In case you forgot, this is the first season the Bachelor franchise has crossed international waters (first Canada and now Hvar, Croatia) since the pandemic hit. Up until this season, everything was quarantined within the confines of a resort, but goodness, am I happy that we are out of that phase now!
Welcome to Hvar, Croatia!
During last night’s episode, the remaining contestants were taken to Hvar, Croatia where Teddi went on a one-on-one date with Clayton and there was an *intense* group date involving swords. Can someone tell me how playing with swords tells you whether or not you want to spend the rest of your life with someone? I fail to see the relevance here.
Whatever might be going on here, we’ll have to wait and see, however, I am so happy that the series has gone to a European country and is finally getting a change of scenery! I’m hoping that this will lift everyone’s spirits enough to finally give us a love story rather than focus on all the drama.
With Shanae gone, I think we can truly be optimistic, folks!
The Bachelor Hvar Croatia–aren’t these just wonderful words to see together?!
