The Bachelor Season 26 has been a rollercoaster ride, to say the least. It has literally been all over the place with all the drama between contestants (Shanae and Elizabeth) and Clayton Echard’s questionable choices.  I can’t keep track of all the madness, to be honest, and I’m just hoping that things get better at some point.

Last week brought an abrupt end (sort of) to the Shanae and Elizabeth drama. Well, I wouldn’t say the end because Clayton ended up sending Elizabeth home and keeping Shanae around (no idea why?!). And now, next week’s promo promises more unnerving, annoying Shanae moments as Clayton and the women head off to Canada.

Traveling around the world is officially back and it looks like Clayton and the women will be going beyond California into Canada this week, and then perhaps Europe thereafter. It’s quite exciting times ahead because we’re finally popping the quarantine bubble and getting back to the fun and excitement of travels.

When does The Bachelor Season 26, Episode 5 premiere?

This week’s episode will air on Monday, February 7 on ABC at 8 PM EST. As I mentioned, this week’s episode is going to continue to be the Shanae show. And it’s all going to come to a head when Clayton asks her and Genevieve to go on a two-on-one date and pick between the two of them.

I think most of us are voting for Shanae to be sent home but the way Clayton has been making decisions, I have no idea which way this is going to go. I do hope, however, that whatever happens, we are going to actually see the love story part of this show.

I’m so tired of the constant drama and it feels like the magic of the show has essentially dissipated because the production only focuses on the drama. Here’s to hoping this week gives us something different!
