There is going to be an unofficial Bachelor musical happening in Chicago, and I’m not sure how I feel about it. They’re calling it Bachelor: The Unauthorized Parody Musical with a tagline of, “The most dramatic unauthorized musical parody of The Bachelor yet.” My oh my, this sounds entertaining.

**I just want to preface this article by saying that this musical is NOT affiliated with the official franchise in any way and is just a parody musical put on by some superfans that love the shows.**

Okay, now that we have gotten that out of the way, let’s talk more about what this unofficial musical parody is all about. Apparently, they have songs called “Sob Story”, “Two-On-One Tango”, and “The Date Card is a Riddle”. Is it just me or does this sound amazing?

According to the site’s official description of the show, the parody “is packed with romance, competition, and contestants who may or may not be here for The Right Reasons.” If you’re wondering how this whole thing might look, don’t worry, we’ve got a video for you below!

The unofficial Bachelor musical parody is really a thing

This unofficial Bachelor musical was created by the Upright Citizen’s Brigade alumni and Bachelor podcaster Richelle Meiss. The music for it was put together by Sam & Tony, a team of composters that made The Second City musicals such as Trump in Space and Supportive White Parents.

Clearly, this show is a hit because it was selling out in Los Angeles before coming to where it is exclusively now–The Apollo Theater Chicago.

The 90-minute unofficial Bachelor musical promises to be a ridiculously entertaining adventure for any fans out there. Honestly, I live in Arizona but I might want to fly out to Chicago just to watch it.

Whether you are local to Chicago or not, if you’re looking to buy tickets then head to the website here and get ready to experience the madness that is this musical parody–and please share your experiences if you do.

dark. Next. Tyler Cameron to compete on Fox’s celebrity dance competition ‘The Real Dirty Dancing’

**Proof of vaccination is required to attend.**

Share your thoughts, comments, and experiences if you have been to the show below. It will be running from Thursday, January 13th – Saturday, February 13th, 2022, so you’ve still got time to attend!
