The Bachelor: Every lead ranked from least to most dramatic
Which leading man from The Bachelor had the least dramatic season? How about the most dramatic season? Let’s chat!
As the 26th season of The Bachelor has officially begun with Clayton Echard as our leading man, let’s take some time to reflect on all of the past seasons. Which men had the most controversy? Which men had the most dramatic women as contestants?
While a whole lot of different questions may go through our minds, for today’s purposes, we’re just going to be discussing the levels of drama that came with all seasons of The Bachelor (minus the current one of course – way too early to judge, but we’ll certainly make a prediction anyway!).
From least dramatic (not much to discuss) to the most dramatic (a whole hell of a lot to discuss), we’re going to cover all of your burning drama-related questions!
The Bachelor: Least dramatic to most dramatic leads
24. Sean Lowe
Come on, people…Sean’s season of The Bachelor literally had near-zero drama. In his season, the women actually had some class and self-respect, unlike many of the more recent seasons of the show.
Want a fun fact about Sean’s season? His season of The Bachelor was the only season that actually had a proposal that turned into a marriage. Their marriage was broadcast on live national television, and although Sean was quite the jokester (and still is today), he cried when he saw Catherine coming down the aisle–such a super sweet moment!
23. Aaron Buerge
If I’m being honest here, I really don’t know much about this guy…at all. His season happened back in 2002…I was four years old, and even my parents didn’t watch the show at that time.
However, research shows that his season was nothing more than boring. Being the second Bachelor ever, he ended up giving his final rose to a woman named Helene Eksterowicz; while they did break up post-show, he is now married to someone else, with two daughters and one stepdaughter.
22. Bob Guiney
Mr. Bob here started the whole tradition of being the next Bachelor or Bachelorette because he was a contestant on the first-ever season of The Bachelorette. His season was also pretty much less than noteworthy…
At the end of this season, he gave his final rose to someone but didn’t propose. He did give the girl a promise ring; however, they broke up shortly after the show itself aired.
21. Andrew Firestone
Once again, yet another boring, close-to-nothing season of The Bachelor. There’s really nothing much worth mentioning here with this season.
Same ole boring story. Proposed, broke up, new wife, happily ever after. That’s it. End of story.
20. Lorenzo Borghes
*Not pictured.*
The only thing that was actually exciting about this season of The Bachelor is that viewers, contestants, and the host and crew too, of course, were all in the presence of royalty…literally. Mr. Borghes was a real-life Italian prince. He was also a huge animal rights activist and all-animals animal-lover.
He didn’t propose to his ‘winner’. He briefly dated the runner-up, but as per usual, that didn’t work out either. #LOL #SameStoryDifferentSeason
19. Byron Velvick
First of all, can I just say that this guy looks like a tool, a fool, and all else in between? He either looks completely drunk or completely high in legit every picture that I found on Google of him.
On his season, this deep-sea fisherman did end up proposing to his final leading lady; however, they split just 5 short years later. He was also arrested in 2007 for assaulting his ex-fiancé’s brand new fiancé. Oops. Jealous much, my man?!
