The Bachelor: Hilary Duff will guest host for first group date

The Bachelor Season 26 is going to be what dreams are made of next week when Hilary Duff shows up as a guest host. She’ll be lending her advice to Clayton Echard as he goes on his first group date of the season.

As we all know, that first group date can be overwhelming, and if there is someone there that is willing to help you out, you’ll happily take it. And if that someone is Hilary Duff then you really won’t refuse.

Duff’s presence can be attributed to the fact that she is promoting her upcoming series, How I Met Your Father, which I absolutely cannot wait for. She’s going to do so well in it, and I think she’s exactly the person to continue the legacy of the show’s predecessor.

But yes, we’re going to see Hilary Duff on The Bachelor–and here’s what we can expect from it!

Hilary Duff will help Clayton out during the first group date

Apparently, this group date involves a Beverly Hills-esque birthday party. I’m not sure what that means exactly, but maybe the contestants will be setting the party up for someone? All we do know is that during the date, one woman will stick out in particular and sweep Clayton off of his feet.

Any guesses as to who it will be?

I’m looking forward to seeing how next week plays out especially after the debacle of the season premiere. Within the first 30 minutes, we saw Clayton get rejected by a contestant before the limo introductions even began.

I’m talking about Salley Carson who was previously engaged and set to get married the day she met our dear Bachelor. She started having doubts and got in her feelings and decided to pay Clayton a visit ahead of the intros.

For some reason, Clayton decided to give her the first rose in hopes of having her stick around. He said there was chemistry and he was hoping to explore it more. Alas, she did not accept the rose, and Clayton was left to pick up the pieces of his heart. That was his first rejection, and it definitely hurt.

But that’s okay, he’s got all these women vying for his attention and love, and we’re sure he’s going to be just fine.
