In the span of one full calendar year, we’ve had four Bachelorettes–Clare Crawley, Tayshia Adams, Katie Thurston, and Michelle Young. It’s quite ridiculous if you think about how the schedule worked out due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I don’t think we ever imagined a world where within one year we’d have four different Bachelorettes embarking on their journey to find love.

If you’re asking me, it was a bit of an overload, but I understand that it’s just how things worked out logistically due to the pandemic. But now that Michelle Young’s season of The Bachelorette has concluded, fans are surprisingly already wondering who the next female lead will be.

It may be too all too soon to be worrying about the next Bachelorette, but it’s natural to be curious who ABC and the production folks are thinking about. It’s never too early to think ahead, right?

Who is going to be the next Bachelorette?

As of now, there has been no official announcement of who the next Bachelorette will be. Right now everyone is focused on Clayton Echard’s season of The Bachelor, and I think ABC will take this opportunity to bring things back to the usual pre-COVID schedule.

I think they’ll go back to announcing the next lead during the After the Final Rose special so chances are we may not know anything officially (Reality Steve will definitely know long before then) until then. It’s a bit of a wait, but I think we could all use a break from The Bachelorette. Honestly, I’m ready for Bachelor in Paradise again!

As for who could potentially be the next Bachelorette? There is a long list of contenders and fan-favorites from the last couple of years. We’ve got Natasha Parker who had her heart broken by Brendan Morais (ugh, the anger I still feel!). I think she’d be a fun Bachelorette to have!

If they really want to mix things up, they could make Demi Burnett the lead. I think that would make for a wild season, perhaps too wild for the general public. But hey, you never know!

We may have some months ahead of us before we know the next Bachelorette, but until then get ready for Clayton Echard’s season of The Bachelor which will premiere in the new year on Tuesday, January 3 on ABC at 8 PM EST!

Next. Are Michelle and Nayte still together after The Bachelorette?. dark

See you then!

Wishing you all a very happy holiday season from all of us at Accept This Rose!
