We are finally traveling! Episode 9 of The Bachelorette Season 18 finally saw Michelle Young and her men head out of the country and arrive in Mexico!

I’m all for the sights of Minneapolis, but it felt so nice to see The Bachelorette get back to its tropical fantasy suite roots.

There were some real curveballs in this episode. So without further ado, let’s get to the best and worst moments!

Who does Michelle sleep with on fantasy suites?

The Bachelorette Season 18, Episode 9: Best moment: Bros to foes

Hahaha. This line of Joe’s cracked me up:

"We’re not really friends ’cause we’re competing for the same girl, so now we like kind of went from bros to foes and, like, it is awkward. Very awkward."

I know it is somewhat cruel to force the men to live together during Fantasy Suite week, but it just creates so much delicious social tension. It didn’t really affect Nayte, apparently, but it’s still fun to watch.

Bros to foes. I’m stealing that.

The Bachelorette Season 18, Episode 9: Worst moment: Joe’s departure

This one hit me hard! I don’t think I’ve ever been so mistaken about a contestant going all the way (I wasn’t sure if he was winning, but I thought he’d at least be one of the final two!) Michelle said that their first date was one something along the lines of one of the best connections she’d ever experienced, so that really got my hopes up for Joe!

I just feel like her feelings and words to Joe have been so much stronger than Brandon! Maybe that’s why she preemptively sent him home, to make the final week easier?

Very sad stuff.

dark. Next. Who went home on The Bachelorette this week?
