Clare Crawley throws shade at Dale Moss for his acting debut
By Ariba Bhuvad
So, Dale Moss is going to kickstart his acting career. Yes, that’s right. The ex-fiancé of former Bachelorette, Clare Crawley, is going to star in a rom-com, marking his acting debut, according to US Weekly. I’m not sure how I feel about this, or rather if I feel anything about this, but I do find it hilarious.
But what is even more hilarious than the fact that Dale Moss acting is the shade Crawley is throwing at home. In her Instagram Story earlier this week, she posted this along with a picture of her at the sauna:
“For the record, you guys can stop sending me all the acting reel clips…I had a front-row seat to that since day one.”
Yikes.
Crawley and Moss have had an on-again, off-again relationship ever since they left The Bachelorette together during her season. Two weeks in and they were already engaged, but as we know, the romantic tale wasn’t as sweet as what we were hoping it would be. The couple broke up a couple of times before calling it quits back in October. Hence Crawley’s desire to throw shade at the guy who broke her heart.
Dale Moss to star in rom-com
Crawley’s comment came about a day after the trailer for the rom-com dropped, which is titled Love, Game, Match. Sounds oddly ironic, doesn’t it?
Check out the trailer below:
As you can see in the trailer, Moss plays a high school tennis coach named Ted who gets caught up in the shenanigans of his students’ digital matchmaking app. He matches with a fellow teacher named Liz (Cristine Prosperi) but the two never meet up, and instead, end up butting heads in real life while working on the school’s carnival.
Unbeknownst to them, the person they matched with is the very person they end up falling in love with. It’s the classic cheesy rom-com that we all love and adore, but seeing Dale Moss in it might throw us off.
He does have a more goofy vibe than what we’ve seen during his time on The Bachelorette as well as in interviews, so maybe it won’t be that bad?
My dream scenario would be Clare live-tweeting while watching the movie. Now, I think that would make the movie worth watching. Very unlikely, but we can hope, can’t we?
Will you be watching Dale’s acting debut? It’s okay you can tell us, we won’t laugh, because we’ll be watching it too.
