The Bachelorette Season 18, Episode 7: Most cringeworthy moments
In an episode that was surprisingly wholesome, there was only one cringeworthy moment. No, really! Hometown week brought The Bachelorette Season 18 closer to the men than ever before. Michelle Young met Rodney, Joe, Nayte (whose real name is Nathaniel, by the way!), and Brandon’s families, who were welcoming and kind.
Nayte’s family doesn’t believe he’s entirely prepared for an engagement, which has Michelle over-thinking…but she gave him a rose anyway.

The Bachelorette Season 18, Episode 7: Moment #1: Brandon’s skateboarding date
Brandon is a sweetheart–and we’ve fully established that. The Bachelorette Season 18 proved that what Brandon isn’t very good at, is planning dates. In a bid to try and give Michelle a glimpse of his childhood, Brandon took Michelle to a skateboarding arena and gushed over his love for the action sport.
The way he was talking about it, I was impressed and almost certain that Brandon was about to become the frontrunner for Michelle’s heart thanks to his skills on the skateboard. Clearly, Brandon’s skills have been rusty and he couldn’t help but trip and fall every single time.
He also owned his mistakes and admitted to “embarrassing” himself, but it was hilarious to watch Michelle adore him for it anyway. It was equal parts cringeworthy and hilarious, and that’s that!
With fantasy suites next week, Michelle is weeks away from an engagement. The only question is: Who will pop the question?
Rose lovers, that’s all for the cringeworthy moments in The Bachelorette Season 18 episode 7 this week!
