Ben Smith was the runner-up on Tayshia Adams’ season of The Bachelorette, and it’s safe to say, fans had fallen in love with the guy. However, as we all know, Tayshia chose Zac Clark and the two of them went on to get engaged.

Sadly, since that emotional season finale months ago, Tayshia and Zac have called it quits and are no longer together. This is all very recent, and many of us are still reeling from the pain that is Bachelor Nation break-ups. It’s sad that this is a common occurrence, however, it’s the nature of the beast and we have learned to adapt in whatever way we can.

Interestingly enough, ever since the news of the break-up started making its rounds, people renewed their interest in Ben Smith. Where is the guy? Is he still an active member of Bachelor Nation? And is there a chance he and Tayshia could rekindle their romance?

So many questions, very few answers!

Where is Ben Smith now?

Unlike other members of Bachelor Nation, Ben pretty much does his own thing. I don’t see him pop up on social media all the time with the other contestants from his season, but he’s still quite active on his Instagram nonetheless. And of course, he keeps busy with his personal training business and his adorable puppy. Peek his Instagram for all the cuteness.

Now, the biggest question. Is he still single?

After taking a look through his Instagram, I don’t see any special lady friends on there so I’m going to go ahead and assume he’s still single and ready to mingle. But whether or not that means anything for him and Tayshia, we’ll have to wait and see. There has been no such indication, but given how this world works, anything can happen.

Fans fell in love with Ben Smith from day one, especially after he shared his mental health journey with Tayshia. He was so honest and open about his struggles and even opened up to her about how he tried to take his life.

It was an incredibly tough and vulnerable moment for him and I have the utmost respect for his ability to share such a personal story.

Three cheers for Ben Smith–the nicest, sweetest guy out there!

As for whether or not Ben Smith will make an appearance in the franchise? We will have to wait and see, but in this world, we never say never.
