It’s always a sad thing to hear that one of your favorite Bachelor Nation couples has called it quits, and it was even more heart-wrenching to hear the couple, this time, was none other than Tayshia Adams and Zac Clark.

Fans were gutted by this unexpected news as the pair seemed to be doing quite well, rooting for one another passionately during the 2021 NYC Marathon and, prior to the marathon, being lovey-dovey on their respective social media accounts.

What caused this sudden change in feelings, and is there a possibility that the couple can return back to who they once were? We answer all these questions and more below.

Why Tayshia Adams and Zac Clark broke up

Contrary to what we all believed, according to StyleCaster, Tayshia and Zac were a “total mismatch,” especially when it came to their lifestyles. An insider stated:

"Things have been strained through the fall. Both of their schedules have been really tough. Tayshia has been very busy and Zac also has a lot on his plate. Scheduling time together was just very difficult."

The source recalled that the filming requirements asked of Tayshia during seasons 17 and 18 of The Bachelorette served as the catalyst for the beginning of the end of her relationship with Zac, as Tayshia often gravitated towards being in the spotlight and Zac not as much.

Where the pair fell short in seeing eye-to-eye in regards to their respective passions, they seemed to have made up for in realizing at the same time that their pairing was heading nowhere increasingly fast.

"[Tayshia and Zac] didn’t even see them[selves] getting to a wedding. [They] hadn’t even started wedding planning. They eventually realized it wasn’t going to work and their relationship ran its course."

Despite calling off their engagement, Tayshia and Zac reportedly still have plenty of love and respect for one another. However, as it stands, these feelings won’t be nearly enough for the pair to get back together. At least, not anytime soon.

Tayshia allegedly liked an Instagram quote that read, “Finally I realized that I was never asking for too much. I was just asking for the wrong person,” and it seems that her stance on Zac Clark being the “wrong person” won’t change in the near future.

At this time, we assume that her ex-fiancé feels the same.
