Can you believe we’re almost at hometowns this season of The Bachelorette?! Leading lady Michelle Young has remained so poised and lovely throughout her journey and it’s really going by so quickly.
Episode 6, which aired on Nov. 23, featured a couple of surprising exits and a fun group date. One special guy even got to meet Michelle’s parents at her childhood home!
Michelle’s connections with
and
grew stronger this week, while some of the men lost steam. We got our first big declaration when Brandon said he was falling in love with Michelle, while Nayte told her he was falling for her, but didn’t actually say the “L” word.
Of course, not all
contestants were as lucky this week.
got the first one-on-one of the episode, and although he and Michelle had a fun time at a museum after hours, Michelle just didn’t feel as strongly about her suitor as she had hoped. She unfortunately did not give Clayton a rose, and he was sent packing.
As fans know, Clayton has been tapped for the next Bachelor, and his departure in the latest episode of The Bachelorette was a total producer play. Nothing against Clayton, but I was rolling my eyes at the drama, as were others watching at home.
Who was sent home on The Bachelorette?
Clayton wasn’t the only one who was sent home this week on The Bachelorette. With hometowns coming up, Michelle had to get to her final four. After her one-on-one with Brandon, she decided to cancel the cocktail party, so the only thing left to do was head to the rose ceremony.
Here’s who was eliminated in episode 6:
- Clayton Echard
- Martin Gelbspan
- Olumide Onajide
- Rick Leach
Are you surprised by who’s making it to hometowns? We cannot wait to meet all of the families of these awesome guys! Be sure to tune in for The Bachelorette next week on Tuesday, Nov. 30 on ABC.
