The Bachelorette Season 18, Episode 5: Best and worst moments

THE BACHELORETTE - Ò1803Ó Ð With her trust in the men shaken after last week, Michelle and her remaining suitors embark on a week full of dates set on rebuilding those bonds. First up, stars of the new movie sequel ÒTop Gun: Maverick,Ó Glen Powell and Jay Ellis, push the guys out of their comfort zone and into the danger zone, but the G-forces wonÕt be the only thing making their heads spin. Later, one unsuspecting fella makes the most of his one-on-one time, baring it all in his attempt to woo Michelle. And a group date led by spoken-word poet Rudy Francisco has the men waxing poetic. At the end of the day though, itÕs Michelle, who, moved by the vulnerability of her guys, steals the show with an emotional spoken-word poem of her own. The Bachelorette Season 18 traveled to Minneapolis this week for a look into Michelle Young’s life, and we had family, friends, football stadiums, and more! It was quite the night and had plenty of moments that we must simply discuss.

So without further ado, let’s talk about this week’s best and worst moments (including Joe and Michelle’s amazing conversation!).

The Bachelorette Season 18, Episode 5: Best moment: Joe and Michelle’s talk

I’m finally getting to know some of these guys! It was so precious watching Joe open up to Michelle about his mental battle with anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts. We got so many details of how his sports injury affected him. Michelle is a great listener!

The way Michelle and Joe look at each other is next level. You can just tell they understand each other.  Michelle put it best when she said there’s an “unspoken word or feeling.”

She also dropped this bomb: “Today was the most powerful, special, perfect, stars-aligning date I’ve ever been on.”

Wow—should the show just end now?

Side note: I cannot believe Michelle remembered which locker at the high school was hers. In fact, I don’t believe it. The exact locker? No.

Also, for the one-on-one game— did she really have to play in a dress? They couldn’t have let her change?

The Bachelorette Season 18, Episode 5: Worst moment: The “Vikings”

Don’t get me wrong— the Viking date was hilarious and the big strong Viking men were adorable— but I was SUPER excited at the thought of getting to see some actual Vikings players, and was very disappointed none were actually there. I mean, they were literally at the Vikings stadium!

What a bait and switch!!

Maybe some Vikings players will show up on a future episode. One can only hope.
