Monday night’s episode of The Bachelorette Season 18 delivered some rather confusing drama in the form of narcissist accusations, misspelled words, and…a rat in the house. Michelle Young really has her work cut out for her this season!
Now, let’s get to the best and worst moments of The Bachelorette Season 18, Episode 2!
The Bachelorette Season 18, Episode 2: Worst moment: The spelling test
We have seen this before! It feels like just yesterday that Bennett and the rest of the guys on Tayshia’s season were struggling to spell “limousine,” and this date was almost an exact copy of that, down the using the word “limousine” again! There are many other words in the English language. Let’s mix it up a bit.
I don’t expect amazing group dates every time, especially considering they still seem to be under semi-lockdown, but come on–the exact same spelling word?
I suppose this date at least made sense this season because Michelle is a teacher, but we’ve just seen this back-to-school date SO many times- Ben Higgins’, Kaitlyn Bristowe, and Tayshia’s seasons are just three instances that come to mind.
Maybe the show should start asking the audience for group date ideas. I’d have high hopes for that!
The Bachelorette Season 18, Episode 2: Best moment: Rick’s homework
Two weeks in a row for Rick! He impressed me night one with his silver platter costume, and he came back strong this week with his Mad Libs-esque after-party activity.
Both these instances show that Rick really puts thought into his time with Michelle–he really comes in with a plan. I love how he called it “homework.”
Watching Michelle fill in the blanks was just so cute. I loved how both of them were just straight up laughing at it.
He was basically in tears afterward, he was so happy. Ahhhhh. Precious!
Can’t wait to see what Rick comes up with next week!
