It’s officially Michelle Young‘s time to find true love on The Bachelorette season 18!

The season premiere is airing on ABC right now and so far, it’s proven to be a great start. Fans already fell in love with Michelle when she competed on Matt James‘ season of The Bachelor earlier this year, and America was so happy to see her on their screens again when the episode began.

The premiere opened up with Michelle in the classroom with her students, which was so adorable to see! We then got to see a conversation between Michelle and her parents, who have a wonderful relationship. Next up, we started to meet the men competing this season. Among the many men include

, who we already know is the next Bachelor, plus

and more!

Michelle’s got her work cut out for her in getting to know these men and picking which immediately strike her fancy, which we’ve already started to see tonight.

The premiere is still airing right now, but we’ve already found out who the lucky man was to receive Michelle’s first impression rose. Read on for all the details!

Michelle’s first impression rose on The Bachelorette

Michelle met a handful of wonderful men tonight with, as you’d expect, unique limo entrances. The cocktail party brought upon some drama when hosts Kaitlyn Bristowe and Tayshia Adams told Michelle that contestant Ryan Fox didn’t seem to be there for the right reasons. They found an entire playbook of notes about the show in his room, including how to get more screen time and how to not come off as a villain.

Michelle decided to send Ryan home and right after had a great conversation with Nayte. When it was time to give out her first impression rose, it went to Nayte!

Many eagle-eyed Bachelorette fans actually already knew Nayte would be the recipient of the first impression rose, as it looks like ABC spoiled it ahead of time! In a photo of the group shared by Entertainment Weekly on Monday, only one man wore a rose on his suit jacket lapel. That would be none other than Nayte! Check out the picture here.

The recipient of the first impression rose does usually make it far on a season, however, as we’ve seen with Matt James’ season and Tayshia Adams’, that’s not always the case. So far, we really like Nayte and we’ll be rooting for him, along with a few other promising men.
