The Bachelorette Season 18 officially kicked off tonight, and needless to say, it was quite the ride. Between all the amazing (and awkward and cringy) limo entrances and the questionable behavior from one of the contestants, there is a lot to digest and talk about.
As much as we are interested in knowing more about the contestants of Michelle Young’s season, Bachelor Nation is also curious about where The Bachelorette was filmed this season. Over the last year and a half, the franchise has been confined to one location, but it looks like things were a bit different for Michelle.
We’re going to be seeing multiple locations this time around (yay!), and even going international. Yes, things are finally getting back to some semblance of normal, and I can’t wait to see it all unfold during this season of The Bachelorette.
With that said, Bachelor Nation is super curious about the first location of this season. Is it a resort we’ve seen before? Is it in California? Find out all that and more below!
Where was The Bachelorette 2021 filmed (First location)?
At the start of The Bachelorette Season 18, things open up at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa in Indian Wells, California.
Side note: I was just as relieved as all of you to know that it wasn’t the La Quinta Resort where Tayshia Adams and Clare Crawley’s season of The Bachelorette was filmed.
This resort really does have it all including farm-to-table food, a fancy golf course(s), spa, pools, and of course, lots and lots of palm trees. It’s quite a beautiful location and the perfect place to fall in love.
The Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa in Indian Wells served as the first of three locations for Michelle’s season but is the most special because it is where all 30 men met Michelle for the first time (and perhaps her future husband!).
After the first four episodes, Michelle’s season is going to pack up and head to Minnesota. However, we’re going to hold off before we talk all about the second location in Michelle’s journey. Let’s unpack this together as it unfolds, shall we?
