Tuesday night aired the finale of Bachelor in Paradise Season 7, and it was one to remember! There was a lot that went down–breakups, engagements, and everything in between.
So, without further ado, let’s discuss the best and worst moments of the episode!
Bachelor in Paradise Season 7 finale: Worst moment: The Becca and Thomas breakup
This season of Bachelor in Paradise truly failed us in terms of the Becca Thomas relationship! I was genuinely confused as to what led them to their breakup. What was Becca not getting from Thomas? What was the problem? What do they even share in the first place?
I don’t know the answers to any of these questions because we haven’t been shown ANYTHING!
The fact that Becca, a former Bachelorette, joined the season was such a monumental first— the audience knows Becca better than any other contestant. So why show us nothing of her relationship? Sigh.
Thankfully it worked out for them in the end. I’ve gotten more information from them via Instagram in the last few days than I did the entire season! Is this what it’s come to?
Bachelor in Paradise Season 7 finale: Best moment: Ending reel
I was pretty upset we didn’t get an ‘After the Rose’ live show (why??), however the ending reel of the season’s best moments/life updates was the next best thing.
The closeups of the cast shoving food into their mouths. The David Spade limo exit. Being updated on how many followers Natasha now has. Classic.
Paradise works best when it doesn’t take itself too seriously. This was a pretty serious finale, so it was nice to close it with some more lighthearted moments!
I also love the 80s. So “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now” was an unexpected treat.
Maybe the next season of Bachelor of Paradise will be 70s themed!
Also, I had almost forgotten about the whole Tre’s uncle and Tahz storyline. Hahaha. Paradise at its best.
And that’s a wrap on Paradise!
