What happened between Abigail Heringer and Dale Moss? Fans confused over Clare Crawley’s Instagram post

This is truly not something we were expecting, Bachelor Nation. All eyes are on The Bachelor‘s Abigail Heringer and recent exes, The Bachelorette‘s Dale Moss and Clare Crawley, after a suspicious Instagram post was shared. What does Abigail have to do with these two? Well, here’s what we know so far.

As fans of the franchise will know, Clare and Dale met on The Bachelorette season 16 and fell head over heels right away. They ended up leaving the show together just a couple of weeks in, and then Clare was replaced as Tayshia Adams as the new lead. Clare and Dale certainly had their fair share of ups and downs since the show wrapped, splitting once in January 2021 and again just this week.

As fans were waiting for either reality star to confirm their breakup on social media, Clare shared an unexpected post in which she explained she’s not talking about her relationship because she’s going through a lot right now, including her recovery from her recent surgery to her mom sadly going into hospice care.

Clare received tons of supportive comments wishing her and her mother good wishes, however what really had fans confused was the fact that the hairstylist allegedly tagged Abigail in the post — and then untagged her. Of course, people immediately started wondering whether Abigail and Dale might’ve been romantically involved.

Did Abigail and Dale hook up?

At this time, we don’t have concrete information as to what happened between Abigail and Dale, however, as seen in a Reddit post, there have been a couple of DeuxMoi submissions that point to the pair having some sort of relationship.

In one DeuxMoi submission, the person claimed:

"“A Bachelor favorite hooked up with a Bachelor Nation ‘winner’ who *may or may not have been* on a break earlier this year. One of them is on Paradise right now but producers won’t mess up her good girl edit.”"

That certainly sounds like Dale and Abigail, however this is not confirmed by either party.

In addition, a second submission claims that the two people in question hooked up, but not while the couple was on a break. This suggests that one person in the relationship — whether it be Dale or someone else — cheated on their partner.

For Abigail’s part, she’s in a relationship with Noah Erb from The Bachelorette season 16 on Bachelor in Paradise right now, though they hit a rough patch in the most recent episode.
