Bachelor in Paradise Season 7, Episode 9 recap: There’s trouble in Paradise
Tonight’s episode of Bachelor in Paradise Season 7 brought us back to Joe and Serena kissing on the beach and Kendall watching with a sad expression on her face. Kendall and Joe had a heartfelt conversation, which ended with Kendall leaving the beach. Joe only had eyes for Serena.
Demar and Ed joined the beach this week. Demar asked Chelsea on a date, and Ed took Natasha. The double date consisted of painting each other on canvas and their bodies. Both couples seemed to have a good time, which meant Natasha would need to decide between Ed and Dr. Joe before the rose ceremony.
Kenny and Mari had a unique date where they used their bodies to plate the food. Mari placed tacos and taco toppings all over Kenny’s body. They switched places, and the intimacy grew. Both had a great time and felt their connection grow. Later that night, they both shared that they were falling in love with each other.
James tried to connect with Tia more by chatting about their lives. They shared a kiss, but Tia still felt torn between James and Blake. She was more physically attracted to Blake but knew James was the right choice in her heart.
Maurissa started struggling with her relationship with Riley. They had a strong physical connection, but she wasn’t receiving enough emotional bond from him. Maurissa asked him why he was so closed off, and Riley tried to explain. They had a tearful conversation, and Riley told her he was falling in love with her.
Production interrupted the day and announced that a tropical storm was nearby. They canceled the cocktail party and rose ceremony, and everyone evacuated. Thankfully, the evacuation was short-lived, and everyone returned to Paradise quickly. The cocktail party started once everyone hit the beach again.
Many solid couples went into the rose ceremony, but Tia was still conflicted between Blake and James. Tia confronted Blake and asked him to make an effort. She wanted actions, but all Blake gave was words. The conversation didn’t end well.
Then Aaron and Ivan ended the episode with an argument over Chelsea. Aaron had spent time with Chelsea moments before he saw Ivan kissing Chelsea. After seeing the kiss, Aaron was distraught and confronted Ivan. Both of them were in each other’s faces when the episode ended.
The next episode of Bachelor in Paradise is Tuesday, Sept. 28th, on ABC at 8 PM EST!
