Brendan Morais reportedly dropped by NordicTrack after Bachelor in Paradise controversy
By Diana Nosa
Many fans are still reeling from the disheartening effects the most recent scandal on Bachelor in Paradise had on them.
Seeing multiple women disrespected by Brendan Morais rubbed plenty of people the wrong way and Bachelor Nation simply was not satisfied with Brendan’s only form of consequence being a sudden exit from the ABC series. However, they may be able to rest assured in knowing that a bit of justice has reportedly been served.
Brendan Morais dropped by sponsorship
reports that Brendan was dropped by NordicTrack and, while the company has yet to make an official statement about why they cut ties with the
Bachelor in Paradise
star, the media outlet cites his unapologetic “sexism” as a reason for his dismissal.
As we know, Bachelor Nation did not take too kindly to Brendan calling the women on the series who were rightfully upset by his actions “disgruntled females,” and they certainly did not appreciate the fact that Brendan faked his romance with Natasha Parker to stay on the beach longer and get more Instagram followers.
Even still, some were willing to move on from the scandal should he apologize and rectify whatever hurt he inflicted on both Natasha Parker and the integrity of the competition series. Though fans of the show did, in fact, receive an apology from Brendan (posted on his Instagram), it was apparent to viewers that the damage that was done was already pretty irreversible.
In the seven-minute video above, Brendan lists the wrongdoings he did throughout his time on Bachelor in Paradise, and they are actions that sponsors like NordicTrack most likely don’t want to be associated with, considering controversies in the world of The Bachelor tend to be extremely offensive to many individuals.
Perhaps NordicTrack just wants to protect themselves from any more bad news especially considering there might be a Bachelor in Paradise reunion on the way where the scandal might be rehashed and Brendan could, once again, be in the hot seat.
Of course, we’re hoping that this consequence marks the end of the latest controversy, but as we’ve seen in the past with this series, we always have to expect the unexpected.
Brendan Morais has yet to make a statement about his recent dismissal from his sponsorship with NordicTrack. Once or if he does, we will be sure to let you know.
