It’s been quite the messy week at the beach, everyone! Bachelor in Paradise season 7 is getting wilder each week, and Monday night’s episode proved things were only about to escalate.

In case you missed it, late arrivals Chris Conran and Chasen Nick came onto the island and shook things up when Chris stole Jessenia Cruz from Ivan Hall. Demi Burnett started a major feud with

Mari Pepin

after going after

Kenny Braasch

and spending the night in the boom boom room with him, and in the final moments of Monday night’s episode, Tammy Ly and

Thomas Jacobs

made out right in front of

Aaron Clancy

. Tensions were certainly high leading into Tuesday night’s episode, which made viewers all the more excited.

But even between all the drama, there’s still a handful of genuine connections getting stronger by the day. Riley Christian and Maurissa Gunn are heating up, while Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile got a date this week.

Abigail Heringer

and Noah Erb seemed like a full-on couple but after a tough conversation Tuesday night, we’re not sure what’s next for the pair.

Tonight’s episode on August 31 began with a cocktail party followed by the rose ceremony, so we found out about halfway in who was unfortunately sent home. And on top of that, we got two self-eliminations and a new addition in Becca Kufrin within the first hour of the episode! So let’s get into who went home.

Who was kicked off Bachelor in Paradise in episode 5?

The following Bachelor in Paradise contestants packed their bags and left this week:

  • Tre Cooper – Self-eliminated
  • Tahzjuan Hawkins – Self-eliminated
  • Chasen Nick – Didn’t receive a rose
  • Karl Smith – Didn’t receive a rose
  • Connor Brennan – Didn’t receive a rose

Later on in the episode, Tia Booth also entered the competition late and had her eyes on Kenny. Of course, that didn’t make Demi happy. And in the final moments, Kendall Long walked down the steps and is now part of Paradise!
