Bachelor in Paradise Season 7, Episode 2: War of Roses
Bachelor in Paradise Season 7 tackles its first rose ceremony
Bachelor in Paradise Season 7, Episode 2 was quite literally a war of roses. With a rose ceremony around the corner, four women were doomed to go home and would be unsuccessful in their journey to find love.
While Demi Burnett arriving at the beach caused some much-needed drama, the episode saw contestants striving hard to earn roses to prevent elimination. Most of the rose ceremony went as expected, but there are a few worth diving deep into.
Let’s dive into the War of Roses and be sure to share your comments below!
War of Roses: Bachelor in Paradise Season 7, Couple 1: Aaron’s Rose Goes To Tammy
Aaron and Tammy have been “vibing” since they met each other, and sealed their relationship (or whatever it is between them) with a kiss last week. This week, with only 10 men, 14 women, and connections being formed at the speed of light, some contestants had to get creative to earn roses.
Moments before the rose ceremony, Serena C., feeling unsure about her journey on the beach and concerned about her lack of connection with anyone, decided to flirt with Aaron. Serena flirted with Aaron, and engaged in a make-out sesh, after rapping for him. Tammy wasn’t having it and showed Serena that her man was way out of bounds for her, by straddling him in front of everyone. Aaron gave his rose to Tammy in the end, but major props to Serena for putting herself out there!
War of Roses: Bachelor in Paradise Season 7, Couple 2: Brendan’s Rose Goes To Natasha
Bachelor in Paradise Season 7, Episode 2 marked the arrival of Demi Burnett, who was previously on Colton Underwood‘s season of The Bachelor. She also participated in season 6 of the series and made history by becoming the first Bachelor in Paradise star to enter into a same-sex relationship.
But this season, she’s here for the guys, and the sweet, innocent version of Demi who was exploring her sexuality is long gone. She’s here to make trouble and singles out Brendan for being “sexy” as soon as she steps foot on the beach. She invites Brendan on a one-on-one date, and they ride jet skis and kiss.
Then, Brendan informs her that he wants to continue testing other waters. Dramatic Demi is furious at him for wasting her time, and gossips about their conversation as soon as she’s back from her date. Now throughout their date, Brendan’s former match Natasha was freaking out about losing him…only to have him return, appearing to be more serious about their connection. Crazy what a one-on-one date can do.
