We’re back in Paradise, y’all! Finally, Bachelor in Paradise has returned after a two-year hiatus, and it’s promising to be as entertaining as ever. With multiple seasons of contestants coming onto the beach for the show’s seventh season, many connections will be formed and some feuds will inevitably go down. Tonight marked the premiere, and already we can tell people are catching feelings!

A handful of

our favorites

from

The Bachelor

and

The Bachelorette

came onto the island for

Bachelor in Paradise season 7

tonight, including Abigail Heringer from Matt James’ season, Brendan Morais from Clare Crawley/Tayshia Adams’ season, and even Joe Amabile (a.k.a. Grocery Joe) from Becca Kufrin’s season. Oh yeah, and how could we forget Victoria Larson from Matt’s season, who no longer goes by the “queen” but wants people to call her the “goddess”?

So far on

BiP

season 7, Abigail went on a date with Noah Erb, Connor Brennan and Maurissa Gunn made out, Tre Cooper and Tahzjuan Hawkins smooched, Mari Pepin-Solis and Kenny Braasch locked lips, and even Joe and Serena Pitt shared a kiss! As Wells Adams revealed to David Spade the next morning, a few other contestants made out as well.

Contestants were getting hot and heavy pretty quickly into the season!

Though connections are starting to form, what about the rose ceremony? The group was told in the premiere that the men had the power this week and would be giving out roses, which understandably made the ladies nervous.

Who went home on the Bachelor in Paradise premiere?

The ladies were starting to really feel the pressure toward the end of the episode tonight, but we didn’t get the chance to get to the rose ceremony. Instead, a surprise arrival came in the form of Demi Burnett, who fans of the franchise will know from Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise season 6. She’s here to cause some trouble!

So without a rose ceremony, that means no one went home in the premiere, and we’ll have to wait until next Monday, August 23 to see who will ultimately get kicked off the season.
