Is The Bachelorette on tomorrow?

Twas the week before hometowns on Monday night’s episode of The Bachelorette Season 17.

The Bachelorette Season 17 said goodbye to three contestantsAndrew, Brendan, and Mikey P. Andrew’s farewell was more like two goodbyes–how much can our gentle hearts handle??

And with that in mind, let’s get to the best and worst moments of this week’s episode of The Bachelorette Season 17!

Do Greg and Katie get engaged?

The Bachelorette Season 17, Episode 7: Best moment: The rain!

Katie and Greg had their long-awaited second one-on-one date, dedicated to her hometown of Seattle. They toss a fish or attempt to toss a fish, which was cute, but the truly special moment came at the end of the date when the producers proved that they have truly become gods who can control the weather!

Seriously, in the time of COVID, it cannot have been easy for the production team to come up with things to do on The Bachelorette. There are only so many art project dates they can do! So kudos to the team for creating this magical moment and proving that they can literally make it rain.

Greg in particular seemed very joyful at this moment, so thank you to the rain for getting rid of his “resting sad face.”

Maybe next week they’ll create a whole thunderstorm! We can only hope.

The Bachelorette Season 17, Episode 7: Worst moment: Katie and Andrew

This “worst moment” is really more of a series of confusing moments that led to the Katie and Andrew goodbye.

First, Katie tells Andrew on the group date that she can see herself holding hands with him in life/at the end of all this and figuring it all out. Misleading!

Second, Katie sends Andrew home at the rose ceremony. Because we were shown SO little of Justin’s one on one date, I was shocked that he was kept over Andrew!

Third, Andrew returns. Katie is downright delighted to see him. He leaves her a note to tell her he will be waiting.

Fourth, Katie runs down to the lobby into his arms. Here’s where the WORST moment happens. Katie asks him, “Do you want to stay a little longer?” A little longer? How sad. I don’t blame him for saying no!

But his answer did make what he wrote in his note confusing. I guess what he meant was that if she changes her mind after the show, he’ll be waiting.

Fifth, they share a seemingly happy/smiling kiss before Andrew gets into the limo. They both seemed way too happy here! It didn’t make sense!

Hmm. It seems there may be more to come with Andrew S. There were just too many conflicting emotions here to not explore further! Color me confused by this goodbye.

Next. Who went home on The Bachelorette?. dark

We’ll miss you Andrew, Brendan, and Mikey P.!
