The Bachelorette Season 17, Episode 6: Fashion Dos and Donts

THE BACHELORETTE - After narrowing down her suitors to the remaining dirty dozen, Katie hopes to find out who has the willpower to keep it clean with a new – and hard – challenge. While the guys in the house see if they can keep their promise, one lucky man opens up to Katie with vows of his own in a ceremonious one-on-one date. Katie then enlists two queens – “RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars” winners Shea Couleé and Monét X Change – to help find her a king in a group date debate that is sure to bring some royal tension. And later, a one-on-one date becomes a two-on-two, with a special double date featuring Bachelor Nation power couple Kaitlyn Bristowe and (her now fiancé) Jason Tartick. But do Kaitlyn and Jason’s connection make Katie question her own? An all-new “The Bachelorette” airs MONDAY, JULY 12 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC. The Bachelorette Season 17, Episode 6 was full of some fairly memorable fashion moments, so let’s get into it right here, right now!

Let’s find out who made it on the good (pretty) side of the fashion list this week!

Fashion Dos

#1: Justin

I’m not the biggest fan of Justin, at all really, but this week, among a few other guys, his fashion sense kinda made a tad bit of an improvement, earning him his inaugural spot on the good list!

Here are a few things that stood out to me about Justin this week:

  • His ripped knee jeans on the first part of his one-on-one with Katie.
  • His cream top/jacked paired with those ripped knee jeans (really did it for me, tbh).
  • His tuxedo on the second part of this one-on-one with Katie.

Overall, Justin usually doesn’t impress me in much of any sort of category; however, this week, he surprised me (which is super hard to do btw), so good for you Justin! Keep it up!

#2: The Queens

Come on now, people. We simply cannot have a Most Fashionable list without talking about the two true Queens that appeared in this episode: none other than Monèt X Change and Shea Couleè, with my personal favorite and topper of this list being Monèt X Change! Get. It. Gurl!

In my personal opinion, they totally outdid all of the guys and Katie combined, if you ask me!

As far as Katie’s looks go for this week…

Here’s what personally, stood out to me:

  • Her fake wedding dresses (although I personally think that fake wedding dates are plain ol stupid).
  • Sundress on her one-on-one date with Justin (at the beginning of it all).
  • Her boots she wore with her short dress on the second part of her one-on-one with Justin.
  • Her tank top with her shorter jeans she wore when talking to Tayshia and Kaitlyn at the beginning of the episode when talking about the Wowo Challenge, really did it for me too.
