Have you ever wondered what a dating competition combining The Bachelor and Bridgerton would look like? Probably not, but in the off-chance you have, your dreams are about to come true with Peacock’s upcoming dating show, Pride & Prejudice: An Experiment In Romance.

According to Deadline, Peacock has received a series order for its Regency-style dating show. I don’t know about the rest of you but this sounds absolutely amazing! I have a feeling ABC might pick up a thing or two for The Bachelor franchise from this series. Hey, maybe we’ll even get our first duke (or duchess) on one of the shows–wouldn’t that be cool?

Setting it itself apart from The Bachelor, the Peacock series will do things differently when it comes to their format. We’ll have one leading lady searching for her duke to the backdrop of Regency-style England. The eligible men will attempt to win the heroine’s heart but will also have to work extra hard to win the hearts of her court as well.

That sounds pretty darn cool, doesn’t it?

Where will this Bridgerton/The Bachelor-esque dating series be filmed?

Apparently, the series will be filmed in a castle in the countryside (yes, for reals). If you’ve seen Bridgerton, just imagine the beauty and glory of everything you saw in the series. Sigh, it’s romantic beyond belief and the perfect place to fall in love.

The leading lady and her suitors will embark on carriage and boat rides, dabble in some archery. and even handwrite letters to communicate with one another. It’s a time-traveling romance brought to life, so dare we say it has elements of Outlander to it?

I’m not sure when the show will premiere but when it does, I think many of us will be flocking to NBC’s streaming service to watch love unfold in the most magical of ways. *Heart eyes emoji*

Next. The Bachelor’s Chelsea Vaughn shoots her shot at The Bachelorette’s Andrew Spencer. dark

Get ready to fall in love, Regency style!
