Monday night’s episode of The Bachelorette Season 17 was another exciting installment in the season, this time focusing on love more than drama.

Very much focused on love. We love Katie Thurston, but I have come to seriously doubt any profession from her that contains a variation of the words “I can see myself falling in love with him/walking away with him at the end of this.”

If I’m not mistaken, she’s said a variation of that sentiment about four men at this point. She falls fast and hard! At least this makes the end hard to predict.

Without further ado, let’s get to the best and worst moments of this week’s episode of The Bachelorette Season 17!

The Bachelorette Season 17, Episode 5: Worst moment: Tayshia tells the men about Blake

It’s no secret at this point: the contestants of The Bachelorette are never happy when a new person, especially a former contestant, joins the group.

The previous episode made such a big deal about Katie’s decision whether or not to let Blake Moynes join the season, worrying about how it would affect the men.

Why did this responsibility fall to Tayshia?

So why did it fall to Tayshia to let the guys know someone new was coming on? Tayshia barely knows these guys and presumably had next to nothing to do with the decision-making process.

Katie coming to visit the men after Blake was already in the house felt sort of inconsiderate. I just felt like the men deserved to hear the news from Katie herself, ideally before Blake joined the house!

Thankfully it seems like Blake is blending in well…so far!
