Tonight’s episode of The Bachelorette Season 17 started with Tayshia breaking the news about Blake joining the house. After Blake met with everyone, a date card arrived with his name on it. The tension peaked at that point. Katie checked in with the guys before leaving for her date, but it didn’t seem like the guys were comforted.

Blake and Katie rode horses together after Blake admitted to having a fear of horses. They had a fun time and then got more serious during the evening. Blake asked her what made her so sex-positive, and she shared her assault experience. He appreciated her opening up and happily accepted Katie’s rose. Their date ended with an intimate performance by Laine Hardy.

The next date was with 13 guys and special guests Franco Lacosta and Bachelor alum Wells Adams. They competed in a basketball rugby game where the prize was spending more time with Katie. Michael took a brutal hit, and Katie called the game. She said everyone was a winner and invited both teams to the after-party.

The cocktail evening was very emotional because Michael opened up about being a widow. Everyone was shocked because Michael always walked around with a smile. Katie had great conversations with most of the guys, and she gave the group date rose to Hunter. Greg and a few others were baffled that they didn’t receive the rose.

Andrew S. had the final date tonight. He and Katie walked through the woods at night with only a few lanterns guiding their path. They reached an area with several Christmas lights and had to pick cards that helped them get to know each other. Each card had a question to help them open up or a dare, like showing their signature dance move. The date ended very well and Andrew accepted her rose.

The cocktail party before the rose ceremony displayed Hunter in a negative light. He already had a rose and was spending a lot of time with Katie. A few of the guys confronted Hunter, and he didn’t appreciate the attack.

The drama didn’t make its way back to Katie. The rose ceremony went on like normal, and Katie sent home Josh, Quartney, and Andrew M.

The next episode of The Bachelorette Season 17 is Monday, July 12th, on ABC at 8 PM EST!
