Top 3: The Bachelorette Season 17, Episode 4 rankings
A Truth or Dare group date turned into tattle-tale central on Monday night’s episode of The Bachelorette Season 17. Katie Thurston’s men continue to try and run the house like the Boy Tribe of their dreams. There was yelling and begging and a savage speech from our Bachelorette as she ended Thomas’s audition to be the next Bachelor.
But with Prince Charming’s fall from grace, which contestants made it into our power rankings on this week’s episode of The Bachelorette Season 17? Find out below!
The Bachelorette Season 17, Episode 4 power rankings
#1: Michael A.
Even though our first-place power player didn’t have much screen time this week, he continues to be the sweetest man to maybe ever date a Bachelorette. Single dad, Michael A. takes the number one spot this week!
With all the man-drama in the house revolving around supposed Prince Charming Thomas, some of the guys definitely got swept up in the politics of the whole thing. Tre Cooper was arguing with Andrew Spencer, Aaron Clancy and Andrew S. were yelling at each other, and the cocktail party hadn’t even started! Enter adorable, mature, hero we didn’t know we needed, Michael A.
Michael used his best dad voice and refocused the group on what is really important and the reason they are there in the first place: Katie and finding love. He reminded our crew of hotheads that they shouldn’t be stressing the Bachelorette out when they should have their sights set on happily ever after.
Once Michael got his cocktail party alone time with Katie, the two had an absolutely too cute chat about their future and it’s obvious Michael is smitten with our girl. Rose in hand from his previous one-on-one, Michael isn’t going anywhere anytime soon! Sigh, I love these two.
#2: Tre
Our runner-up this week goes to the man who broke the bad news to our Bachelorette that one man unfortunately wasn’t what he appeared to be. Too Honest Tre takes 2nd place in our rankings!
After taking one for the team and getting his *ahem* butt waxed as part of the Truth or Dare group date, Tre was living his best, less hairy life with his buddies while trying to impress Katie. And then we hit the cocktail party and the festivities were over as Thomas and his shady behavior became the only topic of conversation.
Tre decided he needed to rip off the Band-Aid (or wax strip as the case may be) on behalf of most of the guys and tell Katie that Thomas was bad news and not there for the right reasons. It was a risky move, but he was confident that she needed to know in order to continue her journey in the best way possible. Andrew S. didn’t like it, the other guys followed in Tre’s footsteps to back up his story, and Katie ultimately rewarded Tre with the group date rose. I’m not totally sold on the romantic relationship of these two, but I think Tre is a good dude and I hope Katie continues to get to know him.
#3: Blake M.
Ah yes, everyone’s favorite Bachelor franchise move–bringing back someone from the past into the current season! Taking the third spot this week is the dude who returned to make his move and stir stuff up, Blake Moynes.
After a surprise visit from co-host Tayshia, Katie was SHOCKED to learn that someone from the former Bachelorette’s season was back and very interested in pursuing a relationship with our girl. She agreed to meet this mystery man and it was a familiar face from her Instagram DMs, Blake.
The chat Blake and Katie had was very friendly and flirty and you can totally tell she is picking up what Blake is putting down. Even though she did do the mature thing and made him wait it out before she decided officially if he could stay and join the journey for her heart.
But later that night, Katie visited our friend Blake’s hotel room to give him the good news that he had made the cut! Naked Blake was confused, but ecstatic at this news and locked himself out of his room in the process. Unfortunately, he had put clothes on by this point.
Next week Blake officially joins the crew and I think these two could be pretty cute and maybe make it work!
Tune in next week to see how Blake stirs things up and to see if he can make it another week in the rankings!
