The Bachelorette Season 17, Episode 4: Worst moment: Truth or Dare fail

What in the world. I love a good game of Truth or Dare as much as the next person, especially as a child of the 90s, but in what way was this Truth or Dare?

First of all, in a real game of Truth or Dare, the contestants generally get a choice- truth…or dare. However, the “dare” portion of the date was basically a Fear Factor ripoff, but without the charm of 90s Joe Rogan. It even included the most Fear Factor-esque activity of all time- eating insanely hot peppers.

It’s not a “dare” if the guys are all doing the same things, nobody is “daring” them (they just read off challenge cards), and most of the activities consist of eating food. This was more of a straight-up series of challenges than a game of Truth or Dare.

No joke- I felt so bad for the guys eating those peppers. The girls tried them later and could barely handle a bite!

When did we forget how to play a simple game?

As far as the “Truth” portion of the date, don’t even get me started. It was basically just a normal after-party but included Katie saying she wanted the men to be truthful. But isn’t that always the case?

Next. Did Katie and Blake know each other already?. dark

The producers need to learn how to put on a game of Truth or Dare!
