There’s no denying it. Yesterday’s episode of The Bachelorette was an emotional rollercoaster from start to finish.

From Karl Smith constantly insinuating that some of his fellow contestants weren’t there for the right reasons to the boys coming together unanimously to try to dismiss Karl from the competition, it’s clear that everyone’s emotions, including fans, were reaching a boiling point. Thankfully, seeing former The Bachelor star Nick Viall again meant that the drama would take a quick break… or so we thought.

Nick let us know that the drama was only just getting started as he threw shade at a specific share circle participant while watching the episode last night.

Last night, it was made known that contestant Thomas Jacobs wasn’t as genuine as fans thought he was. During the vulnerability circle, he revealed his true colors, hinting that he originally came on The Bachelorette season 17 to gain popularity. Though Thomas quickly tried to rectify his comment by voicing that his motives changed after meeting Katie Thurston, by then it was too little, too late–no one was vibing with his prior statement.

Nick Viall was also part of those who didn’t believe Thomas was there for the right reasons. Check out this tweet from his Twitter that he posted during episode 3.

Some Reddit fans loved Nick’s savage energy, believing that he just voiced exactly what was on the audience’s mind regarding Thomas’s blunder, but some also believed that Thomas wasn’t lying as Nick claimed.

“Was he really lying?”, one Redditor questioned. “Seemed to me like he was stupidly honest.”

Regardless of who was lying and who was telling the truth in episode 3, there is one thing that we know for sure–Karl might have been telling the truth all along! (#JusticeforKarl2021)
