We’re three weeks into The Bachelorette season 17, and Katie Thurston is making connections left and right! As we saw in last week’s episode, the leading lady has a soft spot for contestant Greg Grippo after he got the first one-on-one date, but it looks like there are multiple other men who have the potential to win this thing in the end.
This week, Katie went on an emotional group date with a special appearance from former Bachelor Nick Viall, where the contestants took turns sharing parts of their pasts they weren’t proud of. Katie herself opened up about a particularly difficult time in her life when she was sexually assaulted, which, of course, was met with respect and praise from both her suitors and from viewers watching at home.
Katie then took Michael Allio on a one-on-one date, where he revealed that his wife had passed away after a battle with breast cancer. Michael has fast become a fan-favorite this season, as he’s so adorable and seems like a great catch. He could be endgame.
So who did Katie Thurston send home tonight? Luckily for us fans, one pesky contestant was sent packing at the top of the episode, along with a few unlucky men.
Who was kicked off The Bachelorette this week?
The full list of the men who were eliminated in episode 3 are as follows:
- Karl Smith
- John Hershey
- Garrett Schwartz
- Kyle Howard
Fans watching at home were relieved to see Katie sent home Karl during the rose ceremony. Fortunately, Mike Planeta let Katie know that he was speaking for everyone else in the house when saying Karl was lying to Katie in the previous episode. Katie must be a super smart girl, because she took their word and sent Karl home!
So much could happen in the coming weeks, so we’re curious to see who will be sent home next. Make sure to keep watching Katie’s journey to finding love on The Bachelorette season 17 every Monday night on ABC!
