I hope you had your tissues ready tonight, Bachelor Nation! Tonight’s new episode of The Bachelorette season 17 got seriously emotional for both Katie Thurston and her contestants, and now it seems the show’s leading lady is closer to her suitors than ever. We’re only three episodes in, but Katie’s formed some close connections already. Whether you’re rooting for Greg Grippo or Michael Allio, I’m sure you’re fully into this season so far!

Tonight’s episode saw the end to Karl Smith‘s drama, fortunately, as Katie sent him home during the rose ceremony. But the feuds aren’t over yet, because Thomas Jacobs has emerged as the next villain of the season! Though there are some really great guys vying for Katie’s love, they’re not all going to get along — as evidenced in episode 3.

Katie also had an emotional and heartfelt one-on-one date with Michael A., where he opened up about his wife’s passing. At this point, it seems Katie and Michael A. could definitely fall in love by the end of the season! But there’s only one way to find out.
