The Bachelorette Season 17 has officially kicked off and we’re now two episodes into Katie Thurston’s journey to find love. A handful of men have already been sent home, while others are beginning to stick out.
Amongst the ones still left, we got to know Karl Smith a little bit better during last week’s episode. And he is most certainly going to be labeled this season’s villain. He’s already wreaked havoc in the house and stirred up a lot of drama, and had Katie in tears because of his meddling.

He might be a motivational speaker, but I’m not sure about his motivations on The Bachelorette, though.

Karl has a little over 40,000 followers at the time of this writing. That’s a significantly higher number of followers than his fellow contestants, but then again, he has done talks all around the world.
