The Bachelorette Season 17 premiere is finally here folks! We’ve been dealt with a bit of a hiatus since Matt James’ season of The Bachelor, but the wait is over, and it’s now time to get back to the drama. Taking up the mantle as this season’s leading lady is none other than the fierce Katie Thurston.

We came to know her very well during Matt’s season as the outspoken contestant who had no problem standing up to the bullies. Ultimately, she didn’t end up with Matt, but as we know, life had something else in store for her.

Starting tonight, we’ll get to witness Katie’s journey as the Bachelorette–and a grand one it shall be. Of course, many are wary about Katie specifically or the fact that Chris Harrison is not hosting the season. The verdict is out on whether or not they’ll be right, but I’m hopeful it’s going to be a great season!

So, grab your drink of choice, get that tub of popcorn, and get ready for a night of mayhem, drama, and ridiculous limo entrances. It’s going to be one heck of a night, Bachelor Nation!
