The Bachelorette’s Christian Smith age, Instagram, job: Everything to know about the season 17 contestant

If you’re unfamiliar with her, prior to becoming the Bachelorette, Katie really vibed (lol get it?) with Bachelor Nation from the moment she stepped out of the limo on Matt’s season of The Bachelor. She overcame a gimmicky entrance and made it pretty deep into the season.

She started off by playing the quirky and funny role but as the women quickly started to get mean, Katie started to get real. She stood up to bully after bully and was able to be open and honest with Matt about what was going on in the house. Though it didn’t work out between her and Matt, Katie quickly became a fan favorite and production clearly fell in love with her, too.

In my opinion, she’s the most Kaitlyn Bristowe Bachelorette we’ve had since Kaitlyn Bristowe herself—and the franchise seems to have worked out nicely for her! Katie’s big Kaitlyn energy bodes well for the upcoming season. Here’s to hoping that Katie will be able to take advantage of this opportunity and fall in love with one of her many suitors on The Bachelorette Season 17.

Christian is a 26-year-old from Boston, Massachusetts.

Christian is a real estate agent based in Newburyport, MA. Per his LinkedIn profile, he appears to be very good at his job. He has quite the list of accolades on there, including “Top 7 Real estate Agent in Greater Boston 2020″—pretty impressive, if you ask me.

Per his Instagram (more to follow), he lists himself as a ‘professional optimist” and “uncertified life coach.” Not quite sure what the deal is with the life coach thing, but I’d be interested to find out more.

Per his bio from ABC’s The Bachelorette website, Christian “loves parades,” so we can probably just add “professional parade goer” to his long list of jobs. He received a bit of flack online for his love of parades, but honestly, if you’re not from Boston, you just wouldn’t understand. Our teams win championships, we celebrate with parades. It’s a tradition unlike any other and I’m looking forward to the parade when Christian wins Katie’s heart. Cue the duckboats!

Please note that this was a giant leap to assume that his love for parades was specifically championship parades, but I’m rolling with it until I hear otherwise.
