The Bachelorette is moving to a new night this fall, Bachelor Nation. Say goodbye to Bachelor Mondays, and say hello to Bachelorette Tuesdays! According to TVLine, ABC’s Fall 2021 lineup revealed that The Bachelorette will be airing on Tuesdays at 8/7c followed by new drama series, QUEENS.

While we don’t know much about Michelle Young’s season of The Bachelorette, it seems like we now know when nights it will be on. As for the actual premiere, that has not been announced as of yet, but if I had to guess I’d say we’re looking at a September premiere date.

For now, all eyes are on Katie Thurston’s upcoming season, which is certainly going to be an interesting return to the franchise. Will it still feel the same as it did before? Will Katie live up to the hype? And more importantly, will producers manage to give us a season worth talking about?

I sure hope so!

The Bachelorette’s Michelle Young

We first met Michelle during Matt James’ season of The Bachelor, who joined the season as a late arrival. But from the get-go the chemistry between the two was off the charts–you guys remember that hot air balloon date, right?!

Her adorable smile and good-hearted nature won over the audience as well, who couldn’t get enough of her innocence and kindness. Sadly, she did not end up the season’s winner (although, she totally should have), but fortunately, that has worked out in her favor as she is the next Bachelorette up after Katie.

In past years, there haven’t been two seasons of the same show within the same year, but ABC accommodated the kindergarten teacher given her work schedule. Hence, why we’re getting the back-to-back seasons.

Apart from being a teacher, Young is a former Division I college basketball player and loves inspiring her students to be the young leaders of tomorrow. Basically, she’s amazing, and I personally think she’ll make an equally wonderful Bachelorette.
