The Bachelor Season 25: Katie Thurston’s top 3 moments
By Julia Wagner
We’re taking a look back at Katie Thurston’s best moments on The Bachelor!
Last season of The Bachelor, many fans complained that we didn’t get to know the contestants (and the lead) as much as we did in previous seasons. This could be due to many factors: casting an unknown lead, cast switches due to the pandemic, or the insane drama that kept the editing from focusing on smaller, get-to-know-you moments with the contestants.
However, one contestant we did get to know was Katie Thurston, the girl-next-door who became the voice of reason and justice in the house.
As we prepare for what will hopefully be an amazing new season of The Bachelorette, let’s take a look back at what we saw of Katie last season, some of her best moments!
Katie Thurston’s best moment #1: The entrance
Katie Thurston arrived to meet Matt James with a heavily-promo’d, very Kaitlyn Bristowe-esque entrance. She stepped out of the limo wearing a lovely, sparkly, light blue gown, carrying something that had gotten her through a lot during the pandemic—a vibrator!
Hilariously, she was going to “pass the torch” and give it to Matt. However, she decided she was going to “need it just for, like, a little bit longer” and took it back.
Why it was great: Katie’s sex-positive entrance injected some much-needed humor into a stress-filled Bachelor Nation at the time!
