Hannah Brown will compete in ABC’s The Celebrity Dating Game

Hannah Brown is officially returning to reality television, folks! And nope, it will not be on the beaches of Paradise (she’s been there, done that). Our very own Hannah B. is going to be competing on ABC’s The Celebrity Dating Game hosted by Michael Bolton and Zooey Deschanel.

Now, you might be wondering as to why Brown is on this show considering she’s been in a relationship with her boyfriend, Adam Woolard. It’s unclear how long the couple has been together, but they publicly announced their relationship on Valentine’s Day.

According to People, the dating reality series was filmed back in February. So, either she started dating Adam right after it was filmed or she went on this show for fun. Whatever it was, it’s going to be a treat to see Hannah Brown back on our screens again.

Along with Brown, stars Taye Diggs and Iggy Azalea will also be competing on the show. This version of The Celebrity Dating Game is a throwback to the original series, The Dating Game, which ran from 1965 to 1986.

What will Hannah Brown be doing as a competitor?

If you’ve seen the original series, then you may have an idea of what to expect. But in the off chance you have not, then let me give you the breakdown.

Each episode will follow two celebrities who will have to pick one suitor from a hidden panel. But there is a twist with the celebrity version–the suitors won’t know who the celebrities are either! A double-blind experiment of sorts, it seems like.

Those competing will be given clues through parody songs that will be sung by Michael Bolton. Is it just me or is there a strong possibility that this might become our new favorite reality show?

It’ll be interesting to see Hannah Brown back in the reality television realm, but perhaps even more interesting since she’s been in a relationship over the last few months. I guess we can take it in humor and stride as she tries to find her celebrity suitor!
