Bachelor in Paradise couple Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk officially tied the knot on April 16th, 2021 after four years of dating post-show! For those that don’t know either of these contestants, let us give you a quick background on these two lovebirds and their history with Bachelor Nation.

Raven Gates, a boutique owner, first appeared on The Bachelor Season 12 featuring Nick Viall as the lead and ended up being the runner-up. And then there’s, Adam Gottschalk, a real estate investor, who appeared on The Bachelorette Season 13 featuring Rachel Lindsay as the lead and was eliminated ultimately during week seven.

Later both appeared on Bachelor in Paradise’s fourth season and while they decided to not get engaged on the show, they walked away deciding to date, and obviously, here we are four years later!

They announced their engagement in June 2019, and had originally planned for their wedding in May 2020, however with COVID-19 and the pandemic, they had to postpone it.

Bachelor in Paradise couple’s happily ever after

In total, they had to postpone their wedding three times! During that time, however, they bought their own home together and took engagement pictures at their new home. Looks like their quarantine was well spent and not too shabby, all things considered.

Now, let’s talk about their wedding–details and all! They had 20 of their closest family and friends attend the wedding ceremony in Dallas, Texas, taking special COVID precautions.

Gottschalk told People, “We’re just so excited that it’s finally happening. And we’re going to have a wonderful future together.”

Gates kept the same dress that she chose back in February 2020, wearing a Carmichael dress by Watters with a gorgeous veil, while Gottschalk wore Indochino. Gottschalk also wore a yarmulke during the wedding.

Prior to the reception, Gates had an outfit change into a beautiful strapless white gown, which she called the “tequila dress” and had their first dance to “U Move, I Move” by John Legend as seen on Instagram. “I’m so excited to spend my life with Adam,” says Gates. “He makes every day better,” she told People.

So excited to see another couple from the franchise hitched! Tune in to another season of Bachelor in Paradise in August!
