After the somewhat chaotic recent season of The Bachelor, fans of the dating show are definitely looking forward to the new season of the show’s sibling, The Bachelorette, that will hopefully make up for the let-down that was Matt James‘ time as the franchise lead.

With the new Bachelorette making her way to the field of roses, fans have been wondering where exactly the soon-to-be-bride will hand out these freshly-picked flowers with The Bachelorette season 17 soon approaching.

season 17 is being filmed in the land of enchantment itself, New Mexico, a vastly different location from where the show is usually filmed in California.

With the jaw-dropping, gorgeous mansion of the recent season of

The Bachelor

being built from the ground-up in Nemacolin, we can definitely predict that the New Mexico mansion will be nothing less than a palace fit for a queen with acres upon acres of beautiful land farther than the eye can see.

Reality Steve posted photos about the new location prior to the next Bachelorette being announced, sharing that he had heard it might take place at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa. Looks amazing to us!

The Bachelorette season 17 cast

While the confirmed cast of the show has not been released by ABC as of yet, we do know who will not be making any appearances on The Bachelorette season 17.

Chris Harrison, the long-time host of the franchise, will not be returning to host the upcoming season due to the controversy surrounding his racially-insensitive comments that he made earlier this year.

Though Harrison has since apologized for his words, the franchise, and most importantly, the fans of the show, are not yet ready to have him back on their television screens. In the midst of the controversy, Harrison has stepped down from his hosting duties, but luckily two new hosts quickly stepped up for the job, and you may have heard of them before.

Former Bachelor contestants and Bachelorettes, Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe, will be hosting the upcoming season and fans could not be any more excited for the new change.

Last, but certainly not least, it has been announced that Katie Thurston will be the new Bachelorette in the upcoming season and she is more than excited to continue her journey to finding her soulmate, stating on her Instagram that she is “off to find [her] husband.”
